Yamaha has two main models for golf carts: the G-max and the U-max. The g-max is offered in both an electric (48 volt) and a gas powered model. The U-max is the utility vehicle side and it
too is offered with gas or an electric power plant. The u-max series has 3 options to start with and they are light duty, medium duty 1 and medium duty 2. The light duty and medium duty
are based on the golf cart style chassis and are excellent for around the course maintenance. The last medium duty 2 model looks to be the most aggressive cart due to the fact that it sits
higher off the ground has an almost ATV style suspension and tire combination on it. In fact Yamaha claims that it is built to handle a 500 pound payload capacity and 1000 pound tow capacity.
The Yamaha golf carts boast that they have the lowest maintenance task and maintenance cost ratings of any golf car.
