Golf Cart Lights
|
When you purchase golf cart lights be sure to find out what volt system your golf cart is using. Most light kits will work on any 12, 24, 36 and 48-volt systems. Many universal light kits will mount below or on top of your front body cowl and your Yamaha,
EZ GO and Club Car golf cart should have a place that will allow you to mount them easily. The price can range from 25.00 dollars for just a two in the front set up all the way up to two hundred eighty nine dollars for a
complete setup that will get you front, rear lights, switches and fuses. If you order rear lights or you purchase a kit that has tail lights chances are good that you will cut holes in the fiberglass body in order to mount
these lights. If you are a do it yourselfer be sure to read and understand the directions before you attempt to cut a hole in the body shell. If you are not ready to start cutting a hole in the body shell a reputable
automotive body shop in your area should be able to do it for you.
Lights for your golf cart are a great safety item and should be considered especially if you need to run the cart late into the evening. Some owners will need to run them across the road either on a golf outing or during
the trip the club house. The lights give you that added or extra visibility. Cars trucks and SUV’s are bigger and faster than a golf cart and they say lights on for safety on the nations highways and by-ways, well we say
the same for golf carts.

golf carts are another story. Should you have a hobby of restoring old golf carts then you may find that fiberglass bodies and mechanicals bring a high price due to the lack of availability. Many of these
components are no longer available for your personal restoration project. In which case you may have to settle for a used golf cart at a high price, especially if it has that hard to find part in good shape.
