Everyone who has a golf cart may need tires after your purchase. If your current golf cart tire or tires will not perform they way they used too or will simply not hold air get them replaced.
You should be able to get tires from the dealer from whom you originally purchased the golf cart. If you purchased the golf cart used then you may need to see and aftermarket repair shop.
Bring the current used tire with you if at all possible when you attempt to make a purchase. It is important to purchase a tire that will meet the proper weight requirements. You do not
want to damage the golf cart drive system due to lack of maintenaince or proper equipment.
Any swelling of the sides (like a blister)or leaks should be of major concern. If you see many hair line cracks this could be a sign of dry rot and should be looked at by a professional.
These tires should be disposed of properly per your state and local laws. The place that you buy your new tires from may
even be able to help in the disposal of the old golf cart tires.
Be sure to order the correct size golf cart tire for the rim that you have. Look on the side wall of the tire on it should be the size of the current tire. Should you order a custom set of rims for your golf cart then you may want look into a package deal. Many distrubutors will sell
tires and rims for your golf cart as a package deal. This way you are sure to get the proper equipment. They may even mount the tires on the rims for a small fee.
