John Deere Gator
|
John Deere. Now there is a name synonymous with hard work and the engineers who built the john Deere gator made no exception. Now John Deere
makes Commercial Walk-Behind Mowers, Compact Utility Tractors, All-Terrain Vehicles, Backhoes and a variety of other machines that are too numerous to list.
We appreciate the wide variety of tools and equipment that John Deere makes but we are only concerned with the John Deere Gator Utility Vehicles, but we
understand that the gator utility cart had a reputation to uphold and uphold that reputation it did.
John Deere has made six (6) classes of the John Deere Gator series utility carts. They are:
- Compact Series
- Traditional Series
- High-Performance Series
- Heavy-Duty Series
- Electric Series
- Special-Application Series
One of the most popular utility cart from this manufacturer is the Compact Series. This is because it was built and designed to meet the needs of
property owners who want the capabilities of a utility vehicle, but value the convenience of a more compact size. Another benefit that has many people
excited about this vehicle is that John Deere offers this Utility cart for sale on line.
Some quick specs:The entry level model is the CS Utility Vehicle and it comes with 249 cc, overhead valve, single-cylinder, air-cooled, 4-cycle gas engine. This
model has great fuel economy with this engine and the precision-engineered drive train system optimizes engine power for superior acceleration, hauling,
towing and climbing capabilities. With a low center of gravity and cargo box centered over rear wheels the gator provide great stability any where you go.
John Deere added a durable composite cargo box that has 5.0 cu. ft. capacity and holds up to 400 lb. and the tailgate is easily opened or removed for added convenience.
On this model you will get standard high-flotation tires that minimize ground compaction to save on turf maintenance and prevent ruts in soft ground. These tires
provide excellent flotation and traction and flex over bumps for a smooth ride.
So the average price is 4,499.00 but is only the manufacturer's suggested price. So you maybe able to find one at a lower cost but when you add taxes and frieght
charges you most likely will pay more. However this is a very competitive price when you consider that you get an automatic transmission and Integrated features
like headlights, side-by-side seating, step-through operator's platform, cup holders, hip restraints, glove box, hour meter, fuel sight gauge and medium-back bucket
seats enhance operator comfort and convenience. Often times these things are extra if you were to buy from another brand.
Now the electric Series has been designed to be quiet, powerful, and comfortable. It is also known as the E-Gator Utility Vehicle and it is perfect for
golf course superintendents and turf care specialists. You can continue to work for many hours with heavy use or days with average use before it will
need a recharge. And will perform up to the same level as the Compact Series.
