Utility Vehicle Kawasaki Mule
|
Kawasaki has entered the utility cart market with a vehicle that is cabable of handleing all the duties an owner can throw at it. The design and layout will be familiar to
utility cart owners. It features enough room for two adults and a large dump cart. You have three models to choose from the Mule 3010 Diesel, Mule 3000 and the Mule 550. The 3010 is
the flag ship for thier utility cart vehicles, however much of the technology used in the mule comes from the sport ATV's that they sell but don't get us wrong these are heavy duty
components an are designe to take abuse and will handle many of the day to day chores asked of them.
The kawasaki Mule 3000 and the kawasaki Mule 3010 Diesel are basically the same size and dimension with one major difference. The 3010 is diesel powered. This may not mean much to some owners but
as the cost of gas goes up the advantage of the lower cost diesel may make the difference when you decide to purchase one. The other advantage of the 3010 is that it has a greater towing capacity.
Now what is new in 2005 is the kawasaki Mule 3010 Trans4x4. This is the popular diesel powered work horse but now 4 people can come to the job site. The other advantage is that the operator can fold down the rear bench seat
and extend the cargo bed farther forward to increase payload capacity. When the operator wants to transform it back to a four-passenger vehicle.
The 3000 is equiped with a four-stroke, V-twin gas engine. It includes Kawasaki's Automatic Power-Drive System. A dual-mode differential can be “locked” for extra pulling power or unlocked when traveling across delicate terrain.
As part of the deal rack-and-pinion steering is included and macPherson strut long-travel front suspension as De Dion rear suspension has been built in to this model. Four wheel brakes are self-adjusting and feature extra sealing
for protection against mud, dust and debris. The Bench seat comes standard and a steel cargo bed can carry more than 800 pounds and it tilts for quick unloading. Over all this is quite a popular utility cart that has many accessories
available to let any owner personalize this machine.
The Mule 550 produces plenty of power to haul most load requirements in light commercial, industrial or farming applications. This model is powered by a 286cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke industrial engine that has proven
reliability in previous models. This the entry level model that offers easy maintain mechanicals at a low price plus it combines the versatility and hard-working nature of a compact pickup with the maneuverability of an all-terrain vehicle.

>> Many dealers offer various options and accessories for the mule. Our favorite kawasaki mule accessory is the
Warn winch. The test model also included nerf bars to be able to mount the winch to the frame. Should you already have a mule and would like to put a winch from Warn on your vehicle then we suggest you pick up the
Warn 2.5CI Winch
